The AlFrescoes are a group of artists who meet every Friday morning, rain or shine, somewhere around Victoria BC. We show up to paint around 9am and gather at noon to show each other our paintings (optional).There are no membership requirements, no fees, and minimal organization. Everyone is welcome to join in on the paint outs. If you wish to receive the next posting in your email please Follow by Email. Otherwise just check here for our next location.

Friday January 3 - Frank Mitchell's Farm
Our first paint out location for 2014 (Friday January 3), will be Frank Mitchell's farm in Metchosin. There's parking and facilities and everyone is welcome. The address is 530 Witty Beach Road. Please remember to close gates behind you so the animals don't wander.

Hello Alfrescoes! On Friday December 20, we will be painting at the intersection of Wallace Drive and W. Saanich Road in Saanich. The site offers plenty of farmland scenery. A map can be found here.

Friday December 13 - King's Pond / 2013 Alfrescoes Christmas Party
Seasons Greetings! This year, Melanie Barnes, has offered her home for the annual Alfs Christmas Party. It is a potluck, so bring a tasty dish (and some food *wink*). If you would like to brave the cold, and paint that morning, we will meet at King's Pond, located at the north end of the Cedar Hill Golf Course, and conveniently close to Melanie's house (1283 Queensbury Ave). We will meet for the party around noon.

Friday December 6 - Whitehead Park, Prospect Lake
Hi Alfs. This Friday December 6 we will be painting at Whitehead Park, at the north end of Prospect Lake (map here). Parking is available along Prospect Lake Road and also off Goward Road. We'll meet at the Prospect Lake Road parking area at noon.
